Dr. Anand Sudhalkar obtained his Masters' degree in Ophthalmology from the M.S. University in Baroda in 1978. He went on to complete a fellowship in the management of retinal disorders at the Retina Foundation, Ahmedabad. Four years later, he completed a fellowship in cataract surgery under the guidance of Professor Jack Holladay in Austin, Texas. He has held the post of an honorary assistant professor at the Medical College, Baroda, and has also served as the honorary Professor and Head, Dept. Of Ophthalmology at the Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad He has over 30 years of experience in the management of a variety of ocular disorders, viz. cataract, glaucoma, retinal diseases and squint. His knowledge, combined with excellent surgical skill allows for a comprehensive approach to eye care, a rarity in this day and age. He has taught more than 70 residents over 20 years of service in the medical college. His interests are cataract surgery, squint, medical disorders of the retina and glaucoma. Dr. Aditya Sudhalkar obtained his Masters' degree in Ophthalmology in the year 2010 from the M & J Western Regional Institute Of Ophthalmology, Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. He went on to pursue a fellowship in Vitreoretinal Diseases and Surgery at the LV Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad, a hospital of international repute and a World Health Organization Collaborative Centre. He followed it up with a short stint with Dr. Carl Claes, a renowned vitreoretinal surgeon in Sint-AugustinusKlinik, Antwerp Belgium. He is a keen researcher and has a number of publications in various leading international ophthalmic journals. He has several presentations at various national and international conferences to his credit. His areas of interest are medical and surgical retina and endophthalmitis.
